This past Thursday was our weekly AMA Overtime. Last week was a Photoshop workshop! I know many people were anticipating this particular workshop because everyone wants to (and should) know Photoshop!

Our very own Creative Director, Monika Molina, led this tutorial. The turn out was great and it went very smoothly. We met in PC 411, a computer lab, so each computer was already equipped with Photoshop.

She focused more on using Photoshop for creating flyers, which is very important for anyone in any field. We learned about the sizes of flyers and/or posters, creating a nice ribbon, inserting images, we even learned about PicJumbo, which is a site with thousands of free stock images to choose from.

At the end of the day, we all walked out with our very own flyer. Mine was definitely not the best, but I am still proud of it and if there is one thing I know for sure is: practice makes perfect!

For anyone who attended, and if you’re proud of your flyer, make sure to post it on Instagram and tag us!
